But how do you start journaling if the stress of finding the “perfect” words to put on paper is overwhelming?

When looking to start journaling, I couldn’t find an app I really liked, so I made one!


It’s called Lid. With Lid, your voice is your pen and paper. Voice journaling is the best way to journal when you are commuting, out for a walk, or just don’t feel like writing.

I find it more personal than a written journal, and it captures my thoughts in a much more raw form.
