Begun as a Facebook post just after the election, the Women’s March is a worldwide nonviolent campaign of protest around issues like reproductive rights, immigration and civil rights. The 2017 big numbers come from New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Boston, and Chicago but it seems like every state had events, in some case for tens or dozens of people.
