Deutsche Bank, the biggest bank in Germany, has said it will stop financing coal projects as part of its commitments under the Paris agreement to tackle global warming.⠀
The bank also said it would “gradually reduce” its exposure to the coal industry around the world.⠀
Deutsche Bank is one of a number of financial institutions around the world which are slowly but surely reducing their commitment to funding of conventional energy projects
