Since its launch in 2019, LEGO’s Replay program has collected, cleaned, and redistributed over 300 million LEGO bricks, bringing the joy of play to nearly 400,000 children across the United States.
The initiative encourages families to donate their used LEGO bricks, which are then processed and distributed through nonprofit partners like First Book to schools and community organizations nationwide.
To mark its fifth anniversary, LEGO hosted celebratory events at Boys & Girls Clubs in Boston and Richmond, featuring giant LEGO birthday cakes and creative building activities.
During these events, an additional 1,000 LEGO Replay boxes were distributed to local educators and community groups, further promoting learning through play and reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability and educational equity.
